About Snowshoes

The first snowshoe was created thousands of years ago as an essential tool for our ancestors to traverse their wintry environs. The materials and designs may have changed from the original wood and rawhide, but snowshoes are still a vital tool for winter work and play.
ALPTREK snowshoes are designed to take your hiking experience into the winter months with ease. ALPTREK snowshoe kits come with a set of snowshoes, a carry case, and aluminum quick lock trekking poles with rubber tips, snow baskets, and mud baskets.

High-quality aluminum-framed snowshoes provide flotation though an HDPE deck and feature easy-pull bindings and integrated heel lifts. For stability, we have also included sturdy aluminum trekking poles will accessories. Everything in the Snowshoe Kit fits nicely inside the handy carry bag. The Snowshoe Kit HD is for the snowshoer who wants to take their winter adventures to the next level.
